Did you know that it is the female mosquito that sings and bites? The females need the blood from warm blooded living animals and people to feed her offspring. So it is her that we hear buzzing (singing) and the one that we are fighting off and keeping away from us and our pets. She is in search for a meal.

So how do we protect our pets since we can’t use bug spray on them? The best way is to use the recommendations from your vet. However, there are reports from customers who have used the Avon skin so soft bath oil in their pets, bath water. While those who have horses have reported using the Bath oil spray when grooming horses have found it quite well to protect them from bites.

*SSS bath oil is approved by the FDA/CDC only as a bath oil.  Avon does not endorse its use for anything other than a bath oil.
